SpendFloor ("App") is a personal finance app operated by FitMacro Technologies Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use SpendFloor.
Plain-English summary: SpendFloor stores the information you enter so the app can calculate safe-to-spend amounts,
track income and expenses, reserve money for bills, scan receipts or income proof, manage subscriptions, and help you access your account.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
1. Information We Collect
Contact Information
- Email address used for account creation, sign-in, account recovery, and support.
- Name, if provided by an account sign-in provider and made available to the app.
Financial Information
- Income entries, sources, categories, dates, notes, payment methods, and related income-proof details.
- Expense entries, merchants, categories, amounts, dates, notes, essential/flexible status, and payment methods.
- Reserved bills, rent or bill targets, due dates, funded amounts, current balance, and safe-to-spend calculations.
- Receipt details extracted from receipts, such as merchant, date, total, subtotal, taxes, and line items.
User Content
- Receipt photos or images you choose to upload or scan.
- Income proof files, including images or PDFs you choose to attach.
- Notes, descriptions, categories, and other text you enter in the app.
Identifiers
- User IDs used for authentication, database records, security, and subscription access.
- Device or installation identifiers that may be processed by Firebase, RevenueCat, or platform services to operate authentication, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and app functionality.
Purchase Information
- Subscription product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase status, renewal status, and receipt validation information handled by RevenueCat and the applicable app store.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or App Store payment credentials. Payments are handled by Apple or the applicable app store.
- We do not collect credit scores.
- We do not collect precise or coarse location.
- We do not collect contacts, health data, fitness data, browsing history, search history, advertising data, or environment-scanning data.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking across apps and websites.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide core app functionality, including income, expense, receipt, bill, reserve, and safe-to-spend features.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Store and sync records associated with your account.
- Scan receipts and income proof to fill transaction details.
- Manage subscriptions, Pro access, free-log limits, and purchase restoration.
- Provide reminders and app notifications when enabled.
- Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
- Protect the app against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
4. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate SpendFloor. These providers process information only as needed to provide app functionality:
- Firebase / Google: Authentication, database, and file storage.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and entitlement management.
- Apple App Store: Billing, purchase processing, and transaction validation.
- OCR or automation services: Receipt and income-proof extraction when you choose to scan or upload a document.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, when required by law,
to protect users or our services, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Data Retention
- Account and finance records are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide app functionality.
- Uploaded receipts and income-proof files are retained so they can remain associated with your records, unless deleted or removed through account deletion processes.
- Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and app stores according to their policies and applicable law.
- We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or accounting obligations.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can choose what income, expense, receipt, and document information to enter or upload.
- You can disable notifications in your device settings or in the app where supported.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and security limitations.
- You may delete your account and associated app data using in-app controls where available or by contacting us.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections and provider security controls.
No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device and login credentials.
9. Children's Privacy
SpendFloor is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Processing
Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
