FitFace AI ("we," "our," or "the app") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use FitFace AI.
FitFace AI allows eligible adult users to upload or capture face photos and body photos only when the user chooses to submit an image for analysis inside the app.
Face-photo and body-photo analysis features are restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. If a user is under 18, or if age has not been validly provided or confirmed, FitFace AI blocks face-photo and body-photo analysis features.
For under-18 users, FitFace AI may provide a questionnaire-based youth fitness planning flow instead of face-image or body-image analysis. This youth flow is designed to avoid requiring face or body photo uploads.
These images may contain visible appearance-related information such as facial features, skin appearance, jawline appearance, posture, or body composition indicators.
FitFace AI does not create biometric identifiers, faceprints, identity-verification templates, or biometric authentication measurements.
FitFace AI does not attempt to identify who a person is in a photo. The app does not perform facial recognition, identity verification, or biometric identification.
Submitted images are used only to provide the features requested by the user in the app.
Age information provided during onboarding may be used to determine whether a user is eligible for photo-based analysis features and to apply safety restrictions inside the app.
FitFace AI does not use face or body photos for advertising, marketing profiling, or unrelated analytics.
When a user submits an image for analysis, the image may be temporarily processed through the following service providers in order to generate the requested result:
We share images with these providers only for the purpose of completing the analysis requested by the user.
FitFace AI does not retain uploaded face or body photos after analysis is completed.
Uploaded photos are stored temporarily in Firebase Storage only for the time needed to complete the analysis request (typically seconds to minutes).
After the analysis request finishes and results are returned to the user, the uploaded image is deleted.
This temporary storage is required because the analysis workflow requires a short upload step before processing can occur.
FitFace AI does not store uploaded photos indefinitely.
While images are deleted after processing, the app may retain derived analysis results, recommendations, and progress-related metrics associated with the user's account. These results do not contain the original photo data.
FitFace AI uses age information collected during onboarding to determine access to face-photo and body-photo analysis features.
When age-based restrictions apply, FitFace AI blocks image-based analysis both in the app and through our backend services.
If you use the optional shared ecosystem features across FitFace AI and FitMacro, we may link your accounts using identifiers such as your app user ID and email address.
When this feature is used, FitFace AI may send a limited set of derived summary fields to our backend so FitFace AI and FitMacro can display shared context and next-step guidance.
This sync does not send the original uploaded face or body photos to FitMacro. It is used only for in-app wellness and fitness features, not for advertising.
If you choose to connect Apple Health / HealthKit, FitFace AI may read limited health data such as steps, exercise minutes, and sleep data in order to support the Daily Tracking feature.
HealthKit data is used only to provide health insights inside the app. We do not sell HealthKit data or share raw HealthKit records for advertising. If you use the optional FitMacro + FitFace AI ecosystem features, limited derived daily summary fields generated inside FitFace AI (for example sleep, hydration, steps, or workout totals) may be synced to our backend so the connected apps can show shared wellness context.
HealthKit access is optional and can be declined or revoked at any time in the Apple Health settings.
Some exercise recommendations, demonstrations, and guidance within the app are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
While we aim to provide helpful information, AI-generated recommendations may occasionally contain errors or mismatches.
Users should perform exercises carefully, use their own judgment, and stop immediately if an exercise feels unsafe.
If you notice incorrect exercises or guidance, you can report them through the Settings section of the app.
FitFace AI may rely on trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate, including:
These services operate under their own privacy and security practices.
We take reasonable measures to protect user data and maintain secure communication between the app and our infrastructure.
FitFace AI is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
FitFace AI also restricts face-photo and body-photo analysis features to adult users age 18 and older. Users under 18 are not permitted to use photo-based analysis features in the app and may instead be offered a questionnaire-based youth planning flow that does not require face or body image uploads.
